Job summary

AccountStaff is seeking a hands-on Legal Counsel to establish and anchor the company’s legal function in Singapore. The role involves providing end-to-end legal, contractual, and compliance support, collaborating with Finance, Procurement, and Sales to draft and manage commercial agreements and ensure compliance. Ideal candidates hold an LL.B.

or J.D. and Singapore Bar admission, with strong PQE and private practice plus in-house exposure, preferably within FMCG or logistics.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or J.D. degree and eligibility to practice law in Singapore (Bar admission required)
• Strong PQE with mix of private practice and in-house experience preferred
• Experience in FMCG or logistics sectors is an advantage
• Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency highly advantageous for liaising with China-based stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal, contractual, and compliance support
• Draft a wide range of commercial agreements and manage contract lifecycles
• Design and implement compliance frameworks
