Job summary

Standard Chartered Singapore is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support to its Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) division. The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and reputational risks, advising on product and transactional matters, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The successful candidate will also oversee the quality and costs of external legal services and support the resolution of customer disputes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a law degree from a reputable common law jurisdiction.
• Singapore qualified lawyer with 4+ years post-qualification experience required.
• Experience in wealth management or banking regulations preferred.
