Lawyers On Demand (LOD) is seeking a financial markets lawyer with 4-7 years PQE for our Singapore team. You will advise on derivatives, securities financing, structured products, and global markets documentation, while partnering with trading, structuring, treasury, risk and compliance across the region.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience negotiating and documenting ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, GMRA and GMSLA, and will work with both on-site and remote teams to support a leading

We are seeking candidates with 4-7 years' post-qualification experience, ideally gained across a combination of private practice and in-house financial institutions, with a strong track record advising on derivatives, securities financing, structured products, and global markets documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience negotiating and managing ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA agreements, while partnering closely with trading, structuring, treasury, risk, and compliance stakeholders across a regional business.

Who are we looking for?

There is currently an increased demand for experienced financial markets lawyers to support a leading financial institution on a broad range of trading, derivatives, and securities financing matters. We are interested in legally trained professionals with the following attributes:

• 4-7 years PQE gained at a leading law firms and/or a global financial institution
• Qualified to practise law in a common law jurisdiction
• Strong experience advising on derivatives, securities financing transactions, and global markets products
• Demonstrated expertise negotiating and documenting ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, GMRAs, GMSLAs, and related trading documentation
• Experience supporting OTC derivatives, repo, stock lending, FX, rates, commodities, and structured products businesses
• Strong understanding of regulatory developments impacting derivatives and capital markets activities
• Proven ability to provide practical, risk-based legal advice to front office, treasury, risk, compliance, operations, and other key stakeholders
• Experience managing legal documentation projects across multiple jurisdictions and counterparties
• Solid understanding of netting, collateral, credit support, close-out provisions, and related legal risk considerations
• Ability to work independently while managing a high volume of transactions and stakeholder requests
• Strong commercial acumen, drafting skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within a fast-paced financial services environment
• Previous experience supporting APAC trading businesses will be highly regarded
• Availability to commence on short notice is preferred
