NOVEXX PTE. LTD. seeks a Regional Legal Advisor to manage regional commercial contracts and compliance across APAC. You will draft and negotiate complex supplier and distributor agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and governance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role involves coordinating with external counsel in Southeast Asia and Australia, overseeing corporate secretarial matters, and supporting expansion or joint ventures with autonomous decision-making and strategic insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• 4–8 years PQE, mix of law firm and in-house experience preferred.
• Bar admission in APAC or common law jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore Bar).
• Strong cross-border negotiation and supply chain compliance understanding.

Responsabilités

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating regional distributor agreements, procurement contracts, and regional sales/service frameworks.
• Overhauling and monitoring APAC compliance across product liability, cross-border custom regulations, data privacy, and anti-bribery standards.
• Managing corporate secretarial mandates, regional entity tracking, and cross-border joint ventures or expansions.
• Instructing and supervising external local law firms in SEA and Australia for local employment, tax, or disputes.

Regional Legal Advisor

Location : Potong Pasir

Core Responsibilities:

• Commercial Contracts: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating regional distributor agreements, procurement contracts, supply chain logistics agreements, and complex machine sales/maintenance service frameworks.
• Regional Compliance: Overhauling and monitoring compliance across APAC jurisdictions, focusing on product liability, cross-border custom regulations, data privacy, and anti-bribery standards.
• Corporate Governance: Managing corporate secretarial mandates, regional entity tracking, and cross-border joint venture or expansion authorizations.
• External Counsel Management: Instructing and supervising external local law firms across Southeast Asia and Australia to manage local employment, tax, or litigation disputes economically.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: A recognized Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Experience: Typically 4 to 8 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) , ideally blended between a reputable law firm and an in-house corporate legal department. Experience in the industrial machinery, engineering, or logistics sectors is highly preferred.
• Bar Admission: Admitted to the Bar in an Asia-Pacific or common law jurisdiction (such as the Singapore Bar).
• Skills: Strong cross-border negotiation skills, autonomous decision-making capability, and a solid understanding of supply chain compliance.
