Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic (SP) invites applications for an academic role in Data & AI / AI Engineering. The appointee will teach across several subjects and contribute to curriculum development, consultancy, and applied research projects.

The position emphasizes guiding youths and adult learners and nurturing their AI capabilities. The successful candidate should have at least 2 years in AI engineering or related fields, be proficient in Python, and stay abreast of ML deployment trends including ML

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in AI engineering, application development, data engineering or AI/ML ops engineering.
• Proficient in Python programming languages.
• Familiar with ML lifecycle, model versioning (DVC), CI/CD for ML.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning of students.
• Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ learning, performance and employability.
• Keep current and abreast of trends and developments of AI / ML engineering deployment such as ML Ops, serverless ML deployment.
• Support the School’s strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and projects such as research and consultancy projects, development and management of new courses.
