Responsibilities

• Teach at least one evening or weekend session.
• Design, administer, and mark assessments and exams.
• Counsel and mentor students for learning and career guidance.

What the role is

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Mathematics & Infocomm Technology in the School of Humanities & Interdisciplinary studies.

What you will be working on

• Develop and deliver curriculum and assessments for full-time Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) students in Mathematics
• Develop and deliver full-time and/or part-time PET and CET IT-related modules, including face-to-face and/or online courses
• Able to teach at least one evening or weekends in the week
• Design, administer, and mark assessments, including continuous assessments and examinations
• Counsel and mentor students to support their learning and personal development, including education and career guidance
• Lead or participate in academic research, data analysis, implementation initiatives, and/or poly-wide projects
• Undertake academic-related administration, committee work, outreach activities, and ad-hoc projects that support the School's mission
• Lead or support educational and enrichment programmes, including study trips where applicable

What we are looking for
