Job summary

NYP School of Engineering in Singapore is seeking a full-time Lecturer to deliver high-quality education in Human-Centred Design for AI & Cloud Innovation. You will teach and mentor learners in design thinking, human-centred design, innovation methodologies, product development, prototyping and technology-driven solutioning.

The role focuses on developing and delivering learning units, supervising student projects, and building industry partnerships to support applied learning and capability

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Design, Innovation, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 3–5 years of industry or practical experience in engineering design, product development, or technology-enabled solutions.
• Experience in design thinking, prototyping, user-centred design and project-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning units in design thinking, human-centred design, and innovation methodologies.
• Teach and mentor learners in product development, prototyping, testing and iterative development.
• Supervise student projects, industry-based projects and innovation challenges.
• Build industry partnerships to support applied learning and capabilities development.
• Stay current with emerging trends and integrate them into teaching.
