Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to deliver high-quality education in Cloud Engineering in Singapore. The role involves teaching, mentoring learners, and guiding projects to produce scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with industry needs.

Qualifications

Relevant academic qualifications in Computer Engineering, Information System, Computer Science, Cloud Computing or related field.
Hands-on experience in cloud-native application development, DevOps or platform engineering.
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with API/SDK cloud integration experience.
Strong communication and passion for teaching and mentoring.
Experience or interest in AI, IoT or cloud-enabled digital transformation is a plus.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver learning units in cloud engineering and cloud-native development.
Deliver DevOps, platform engineering and automation content with industry relevance.
Supervise student projects and provide guidance aligned with industry practices.
Update curriculum and participate in quality processes and improvement initiatives.
Stay informed on industry trends and integrate emerging technologies into teaching.
