Job summary

NYP International is seeking a lecturer to deliver high-quality education in Human-Centred Design for AI & Cloud Innovation. You will teach design thinking, prototyping, and product development while mentoring learners and guiding industry-based projects.

The role emphasizes integrating cloud technologies, AI and IoT into curriculum and fostering industry partnerships to support applied learning and innovation. Hybrid teaching model preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industry or practical experience in engineering design, product development or innovation.
• Experience in design thinking, prototyping, user-centred design and project-based learning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, digital technologies or smart systems; AI, IoT or data analytics exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Certifications in engineering, design, cloud technologies or project management are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning units in design thinking, human-centred design and innovation.
• Teach product design, prototyping, testing, validation and iterative development.
• Handle engineering problem-solving with systems thinking and solution development.
• Lead innovation management, entrepreneurship and technobusiness curricula.
• Supervise student projects and industry-based challenges; mentor learners in design thinking and product development.
• Build industry partnerships to support applied learning and capability development.
• Stay current with emerging trends and integrate them into teaching.
