Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD.'s client, an established manufacturing group serving electronics and technology industries, seeks a Production/Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize production line layouts and workflows in Singapore.

You will lead lean initiatives, support capacity planning, and collaborate with Assembly, Test, and Quality teams to remove bottlenecks and improve throughput on the shop floor. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and SOP documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related Engineering.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing/production engineering in electronics/precision manufacturing.
• Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with line layout planning, tooling design, and capacity/throughput analysis.
• Strong hands-on, floor-based problem-solving orientation.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize production line layout, workflow, and tooling.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce cycle time, and lower cost of production
• Support capacity planning and line balancing across production programs
• Work with Assembly, Test, and Quality teams to resolve production bottlenecks and process issues
• Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor
• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
