Job summary

Health Promotion Board in Singapore seeks an Assistant Director, Operations Excellence & Programmes (Physical Activity) to lead and develop the team across two portfolios, delivering high‑quality, safe and impactful physical activity programmes for residents.

You will set direction, deploy resources, coach officers and ensure integrated workplans, governance and performance dashboards, driving continuous improvement and cross‑function collaboration with Strategy, R&D and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Operations Management, Engineering, Quality Management, Data Analytics, Economics, Public Health, Health Services Management, Exercise and Sport Science, or a related discipline; professional certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set direction and translate priorities into an integrated workplan.
• Coach officers and manage dependencies, risks and escalation to deliver outcomes.
• Oversee governance, quality assurance and audits to ensure actions are completed.
• Develop indicators, dashboards and reviews for operational health and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and productivity using data and automation.
