Job summary

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and MOM/ECO/NEA registrations, with at least five years in construction safety, coordinating policies, site inspections, training, and incident investigations to maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Specialist Diploma in WSH.
• Must be MOM-registered WSHO and ECO-NEA certified.
• Ideally 5 years of safety personnel experience on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
• Ensure policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
• Ensure the Company meets statutory obligations in health, safety and welfare at work including training and reporting
• Ensure permit-to-work system is implemented correctly and effectively
• Ensure completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations
• Document, investigate and implement improvements for all accidents
• Coordinate development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures
• Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are carried out at all times
• Measure and monitor WSH performance and discuss improvements in WSH committee meetings
• Perform ECO and ECMO duties as assigned
