Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Facilities UPW/WWTP Engineer to oversee the UPW and wastewater systems. You will plan, maintain, and upgrade critical water treatment infrastructure to support production with high reliability and safety.

You’ll lead continuous improvement, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a team in a fast-paced semiconductor environment, gaining accelerated exposure and career growth at Micron.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/or Biomolecular Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with SPC knowledge and data-driven approach.
• Effective communicator and collaborative across all levels.
• Growth mindset with passion for continuous learning and leadership.
• Experience or internship in the semiconductor industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities upgrade, engineering and maintenance of UPW plants, wastewater and related systems.
• Lead and manage targets for sustainability in water and wastewater.
• Drive continual quality and reliability improvements to maximize uptime.
• Ensure timely response to out-of-spec conditions and system interruptions.
• Benchmark Micron and industry best practices for a world-class UPW/WW team.
• Establish area budgets and drive cost reduction for services and maintenance.
• Set performance metrics and use data to drive decisions.
• Provide EHS leadership and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Collaborate across sections and departments on cross-functional projects.
