Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd is seeking a Lead Engineer/Assistant Engineer to head a team of Technical Officers for scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance on EMUs and related equipment. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with work instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards while coordinating within and across teams.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in Engineering and at least 4 years of experience leading maintenance teams and troubleshooting electro-mechanical

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 4+ years in relevant maintenance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technical Officers to perform PM and CM on EMUs/components.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, quality, safety, and operational procedures.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance tasks within standard times and cross-team collaboration.
• Maintain qualifications and authorization for daily tasks and assigned works.
• Supervise safety, welfare, and discipline of the team.
• Oversee upkeep of tools and working environment.
