Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is a world leader in aircraft engines and modules, seeking skilled personnel in Singapore for assembly, disassembly, and inspection roles. The position involves reading SOPs, solving technical issues, and supporting leaders to achieve production targets.

Candidates should have a NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, 2 years' related experience, and a willingness to work day and night shifts with overtime if needed. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in engine/module assembly, disassembly, inspection, or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and engine manuals.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and inspect engines, modules, parts and accessories using approved tools.
• Read and follow SOPs to ensure quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during daily operations.
• Support Operations Leaders to meet production targets and maintain discipline.
• Perform SAP transactions and update work orders in SAP.
• Engage in EHS, continuous improvement and ethics initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Utilize machines/ equipment/ tools to carry out assembly, disassembly and inspect functions of engines, its associated modules, parts, components or accessories.
• Read and execute the standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work.
• Assist the Operations Leader/ Assistant Foremen/ Cell Leaders in their daily operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
• Carry out SAP transaction and make necessary changes to works order in SAP.
• Actively support and participate in EHS and Continuous Improvement and Ethics culture projects and any other corporate initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience in engine or module assembly/disassembly/inspection or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawing such as Engine Manuals.
• A curious and learning mindset – we provide on-the-job trainings and certifications.
• Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
