Job summary

RoviSys is a multinational automation integrator seeking an experienced automation professional in Singapore to support site automation across Pharmaceuticals, Food, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to capture user requirements and drive engineering projects end-to-end.

Key responsibilities include PLC/SCADA/BATCH programming, validation activities, and infrastructure setup, with emphasis on GMP compliance and ISO/ISA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical/ Chemical industries is preferred.
• Experience with Manufacturing Control Systems in Wet and Dry Processes, Dry Blending and Packaging areas.
• Siemens PLC (Step7/TIA Portal) proficiency required.
• Technical knowledge of batch and recipe management systems; GE product knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial computer systems connectivity and Kepware protocols is preferred.
• Ability to read Process Descriptions and P&ID diagrams.
• Experience in lifecycle documentation, FAT and IOQ test protocols.
• Familiarity with GMP, ISA S95/S88, and validation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a primary technical contact for customers.
• Develops quality plans for projects and monitors projects for quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Develops engineering standards to streamline processes and improve project execution.
• Lead and implement PLC programming, SCADA and Batch modifications in design, install, start-up, commissioning and validation per change control.
• Handle infrastructure installation and server-client/communication setup.
• Author design and test documentation.
• Provide technical sales support with project execution hour assessments and resource loading estimates.

Job description

• At least 3 years' experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Plant or Automation industry or equivalent combination of work experience.


• Experience with Manufacturing Control System in Wet and Dry Process, Dry Blending and Packaging Areas.


• At least 3 years' experience with Siemens PLC (Step7/TIA Portal) experience.


• Technical knowledge of Batch and recipe management systems. Knowledge of GE products will be added advantage.


• Knowledge in industrial computer systems connectivity and communication protocols and platform such as Kepware.


• Experience in reading Process Descriptions and P&ID's


• Experience in Lifecycle documentation, generation of FAT, IOQ Test protocol.


• Knowledgeable in ISA S95, S88 and GMP requirements.


• Knowledgeable in Computer System Validation.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

General Characteristics

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team to support and manage RoviSys customer's site automation needs as well as interact with stakeholders (Utilities, Production, Quality and Automation, and etc.) to accurately capture the user requirements.

• Provides technical sales support to pursue new and repeat business opportunities by providing the sales staff with project execution hour assessments, and resource loading estimates.
