EPAM Systems in Singapore seeks a Lead Software Engineer (Java, React) to architect and deliver production-ready microservices and rich user interfaces using Java 21, Spring Boot, React and TypeScript.

You will set engineering standards, drive design reviews, mentor engineers and own delivery from design through release, collaborating across product, design and operations to ensure scalable, robust solutions.

Qualificações

• Proven Java development experience with recent long-term support releases.
• Hands-on Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with React front-end and TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux or similar state management.
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• CI/CD with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
• Technical leadership in Agile teams.

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Java, React) . You’ll build and ship production-ready microservices and user experiences using Java 21, Spring Boot, React and TypeScript. You’ll set practical engineering standards through code reviews, architecture decisions and delivery ownership from design through release.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of full stack solutions from discovery to production support
• Build and review Java 21 and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs and integrations
• Build and review React and TypeScript interfaces using scalable component patterns
• Define API contracts, data flows and boundaries across Front-end and Back-end
• Set coding standards, branching strategies and quality controls for the team
• Drive automated testing across unit, integration and end-to-end layers
• Partner with DevOps and site reliability engineering teams to deliver via CI/CD on OpenShift
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews and day-to-day technical guidance

Requirements

• Proven experience with Java development using recent long-term support releases
• Hands-on experience building Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience building React Front-end applications with TypeScript
• Knowledge of state management using Redux or similar approaches
• Experience with relational databases, Structured Query Language (SQL) and Hibernate or Spring Data JPA
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes (K8s)
• Experience with continuous integration using Git, Maven or Gradle and Jenkins or similar tooling
• Experience providing technical leadership in Agile teams, including mentoring and stakeholder alignment
