Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Full Stack Developer (Java, React) to design, build and ship production-ready services and experiences on Java 21, Spring Boot and React. You’ll guide engineering standards and own delivery from design through release, mentoring teammates along the way.

You will lead end-to-end design, build microservices and REST APIs, and craft scalable UI components with React/TypeScript. Strong code reviews, architecture input and DevOps alignment are key parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Java hands-on development with Java 21 in a project context.
• Spring Boot for microservices and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of full stack apps from discovery to production.
• Build and review Java 21 Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Build and review React UIs with TypeScript and scalable components.
• Define clear API contracts and data flows between front-end and back-end.
• Establish coding standards, branching strategies and code-quality controls.
• Drive automated testing across unit, integration and end-to-end layers.
• Partner with DevOps/SRE to deliver via CI/CD to OpenShift.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews and guidance.
