Job summary

HTX, Singapore's science and technology agency, invites engineers to join the RAUS CoE in the Ground Systems domain. You will work on Smart & Autonomous capabilities, integrating robotics, sensing, and automation into mission-ready solutions for homeland security.

You will translate research outcomes into deployable operations, contribute to technology prototyping and field trials, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation. A two-year contract applies at onboarding.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent; postgraduate degree advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in robotics, software engineering, automation or related fields.
• Knowledge of middleware or interoperability frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate technologies for Smart & Autonomous systems and/or system-of-systems operations.
• Develop capabilities involving sensing, decision-making, system coordination, and operational automation.
• Integrate robotic platforms, sensors, infrastructure systems, and OT into cohesive solutions.
• Develop and evaluate middleware, interoperability, and system integration across heterogeneous systems.
• Conduct technology prototyping, experimentation, testing, and validation activities.
• Support field trials, operational evaluations, and deployment of developed capabilities.
• Analyse operational challenges and develop innovative technology solutions to address mission needs.
