Job summary

Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) is looking for a technology/project manager to lead RAUS projects in Singapore. You will coordinate internal teams and external vendors, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of hardware and software systems for operational use.

The role requires 3+ years in technology management, with preference for unmanned systems or sensor experience. A PMP certification is advantageous, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technology/project management experience.
• Experience with unmanned systems or sensor systems is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to deliver RAUS projects, ensuring budget, specs, and requirements are met.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, milestones, issues and expenditure.
• Identify risks early and recommend mitigating measures to minimise delays.
• Ensure proper integration and testing of hardware and software against contractual requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications, system design documents, test plans and test reports.
• Stay updated on RAUS technologies including sensors, machine vision, localization and autonomous behaviours.
• Assist in transitioning proven prototypes into operational systems.

What the role is:

What you will be working on:

• Liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to deliver projects in RAUS, ensuring that the budget, specifications and any other requirements are being adhered to.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, highlighting project milestones, issues and expenditure.
• Identify potential project risks early and assess its implications to the organisation and project, and to recommend mitigating measures to manage the risks and minimise project delay.
• Ensure proper integration and testing of all hardware and software components so that the system is delivered to contractual requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications, system design documents, test plans and test reports.
• Keep abreast of current RAUS component technologies, which include sensor systems, machine vision, perception, localization, mapping, navigation and autonomous behaviours.
• Assist in realizing the transition of proven RAUS prototypes into operational systems.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technology management, preferably in development of unmanned systems or radio frequency/electro-optical sensor systems.
• Preferably with basic knowledge of network, cybersecurity and IM8.
• Applicants with more than 5 years’ relevant experience will be considered for more senior positions.
• Strong interest in RAUS technologies, especially in counter unmanned aerial systems (counter drones).
• Has strong planning and project management skills. PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
• A willing learner and team player with good interpersonal relationship, organizational and system management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferably a Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / System Engineering / Communications Engineering / Computer Science.

All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
