Job summary

HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency) in Singapore seeks an engineer-researcher to advance embodied AI robotics for public safety. You will design robot planners, integrate AI with sensors and actuators, and deploy models on real platforms to ensure scalability and robustness.

You will work within 3i RAUS CoE, focusing on robotics and unmanned systems, applying reinforcement learning, Sim2Real transfer, and domain randomization, with strong collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering or AI related field.
• Post-graduate degree is an advantage.
• Strong background in robotics or AI is beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in robotics/AI or related fields.
• Knowledge of ML, RL, CV, sensor fusion, and robotics simulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop robot planners to translate task plans into actionable motions.
• Integrate AI models with robotic hardware including sensors and actuators.
• Deploy AI models on physical robots and ensure scalability across platforms.
• Study and improve embodied AI systems using RL, Sim2Real, and domain randomization.
• Monitor performance and iterate with real-world feedback.
