Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead design and delivery for major infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will work on roads, drainage, sewerage, and utilities, while writing reports and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in civil works design, strong technical writing, and hands-on use of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer. Senior roles may suit those with 8–10 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Recognized Civil Engineering qualification or related field (Bachelor/ Master’s degree).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil works design including roads, drainage, sewerage and utilities.
• Experience in structural and/or geotechnical design and site supervision (e.g. Resident Engineer) is advantageous.
• Senior role candidates: 8–10 years of experience considered.
• Knowledge of civil regulations and standards (Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards, statutory requirements).
• Hands-on with digital design tools (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer) for design management and execution.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills; strong stakeholder engagement and project coordination.
• Able to lead with an open mindset and provide engineering guidance and QA across deliverables.

What will you do?

• Provide comprehensive consultancy services to clients for civil engineering works including roads, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. for infrastructure and building projects, and be able to deliver solutions to complex problems.
• Write, consolidate, and review technical reports of infrastructure projects and studies, for the presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Logical, possess initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise during design and construction stages.
• Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/ Approved Concept, as well as relevant design standards and office standards.

• Candidates with structural and / or geotechnical design and site supervision experiences of civil engineering work (e.g. Resident Engineer) will be advantageous.
• Candidate with 8 to 10 years of experience can be considered as senior role.
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of civil related regulation, standards, and reference of design - such as Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements (LTA, BCA, PUB, URA IPAG, NParks etc.).
• Hands on experience with digital design tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer and other relevant software for design management and execution.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
• Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across project teams and clients.
• Capability to lead with open mindset, provide engineering guidance and quality assurance across all deliverables generated by engineers, designers, and drafters.
