Job summary

Aurecon in Singapore seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex infrastructure design projects across roads, drainage and utilities. You will mentor designers, review calculations, and ensure delivery meets schedules and quality standards.

Expect to work with multidisciplinary teams on global opportunities, apply Civil 3D, AutoCAD, OpenRoads and other tools, and communicate technical insights to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Recognized Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelor/Master).
• 10+ years of professional civil works design experience.
• Senior role with 8-10 years possible.
• Knowledge of design standards and regulatory references (LTA, BCA, PUB, URA IPAG, NParks).
• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer.

• Write, consolidate and review technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead design teams and resolve tasks during design and construction stages.

In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects.

• Provide comprehensive consultancy services to clients for civil engineering works including roads, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. for infrastructure and building projects, and be able to deliver solutions to complex problems.
• Write, consolidate, and review technical reports of infrastructure projects and studies, for the presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Logical, possess initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise during design and construction stages.
• Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/ Approved Concept, as well as relevant design standards and office standards.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Recognized Civil Engineering qualification or related field (Bachelor/ Master's degree).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the field of civil works design including roads, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. Candidates with structural and / or geotechnical design and site supervision experiences of civil engineering work (e.g. Resident Engineer) will be advantageous.
• Candidate with 8 to 10 years of experience can be considered as senior role.
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of civil related regulation, standards, and reference of design – such as Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements (LTA, BCA, PUB, URA IPAG, NParks etc.).
• Hands on experience with digital design tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer and other relevant software for design management and execution.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
• Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across project teams and clients.
• Capability to lead with open mindset, provide engineering guidance and quality assurance across all deliverables generated by engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Energetic, proactive, and reliable team player with excellent communication and project coordination skills.
