Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research is seeking a hands-on Team Lead for AI Enablement & Security Engineering in Singapore. You will translate AI security policies into practical architectures, controls and assurance processes while mentoring engineers and shaping secure AI delivery at scale.

Responsibilities include designing secure RAG architectures, threat modelling, and implementing runtime guardrails across AI models, prompts, and tools, in collaboration with cybersecurity,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 2+ years in AI security, GenAI, or LLM deployment preferred.
• Hands-on experience delivering secure AI solutions in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define secure-by-design architecture patterns for GenAI, RAG and agents.
• Lead technical governance, security baselines and risk assessments for AI platforms.
• Prototype and evaluate AI safeguards, runtimes, and prompt-security controls.
• Collaborate with security, legal, data governance and IT teams to translate policies into controls.
• Provide hands-on guidance, workshops and mentoring for engineering teams.
