Job summary

MSD Malaysia in Singapore is seeking an AI Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of security strategies for AI, agents, and foundation models across the enterprise.

You will partner with business, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to ensure AI systems are secure by design, compliant with standards, and resilient against evolving threats.

The role requires hands-on security architecture, threat modeling, and guiding secure-by-default practices throughout the AI lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, cloud security, or related disciplines.
• 2+ years designing, securing, or assessing AI, ML, or generative AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI security concepts and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise AI security architectures and standards.
• Support security reviews and risk assessments for AI systems and platforms.
• Design controls for AI-specific threats including prompt injection and data leakage.
• Embed secure-by-design principles across the AI lifecycle.
• Lead threat modeling for AI solutions and roadmap security requirements.
• Promote AI security best practices through guidance and training.
• Monitor AI threat landscape and translate insights into strategies.
