Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research invites a Senior AI Scientist to lead design, implementation and scaling of AI infrastructure. You will bridge data science and software engineering by building robust pipelines and establishing best practices for model development, deployment and lifecycle management.

The role focuses on creating highly efficient, reusable AI systems, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deploy end-to-end solutions at scale in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Software or Platform Engineering
• 3+ years in MLOps or AI infrastructure
• Proficient in Python and at least one high‑performance language

Responsibilities

• Design multimodal AI models for complex inputs.
• Translate research into scalable production systems.
• Build scalable, low-latency deployment pipelines.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate development.
• Develop end-to-end data processing and training workflows.
• Prototype rapidly and transfer tech to production.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate AI into enterprise systems.
