Qualifications

• PhD in Skin Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline with 3–5 years in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in human skin biology and cosmetic skin benefit mechanisms.
• Proven experience developing and deploying 2D and/or 3D skin models.
• Experience with high-throughput screening, high-content imaging, molecular assays, and quantitative biological endpoints.
• Strong scientific problem-solving, experimental design, and data interpretation capabilities.
• Demonstrated success working within multidisciplinary and highly collaborative teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Biological Model and Assay Strategy: define roadmap for 2D/3D tissue and organ-system models; design, optimize, validate and deploy assays across biology levels; ensure models are fit for purpose and connected to discovery decisions; evaluate emerging models and non-animal methods.
• Advance Mechanistic and Translational Discovery: investigate pathways, interactions, perturbations, and intervention responses; connect molecular mechanisms to tissue and organ outcomes; translate evidence into actionable conclusions and program recommendations.
• Provide Scientific Leadership and Build Capability: act as experimental biology technical leader; translate findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders; build external partnerships to access differentiated models and capabilities; mentor and engage with external scientists to adopt new methods.
