Job summary

GovTech is seeking a Lead Engineering Manager (Salesforce) to lead the engineering of Salesforce Education Cloud platforms that support critical school and educator workflows. You will balance technical excellence with team leadership to deliver secure, scalable solutions at national scale for MOE.

You will mentor Salesforce engineers, set technical standards, and collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure production-ready implementations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including building and supporting production Salesforce systems.
• At least 2 years in a technical leadership or people-management role, leading Salesforce engineers.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data modelling, security, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, high-availability Salesforce solutions.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership for Salesforce Education Cloud and Service Cloud implementations.
• Own end-to-end design and delivery of Salesforce solutions for MOE education workflows.
• Balance delivery speed with long-term sustainability through architecture and governance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders in an Agile setting.
• Drive platform optimization, reliability, and adoption of best practices.
