Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• At least 2 years in a technical leadership or people-management role.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data modelling, security, and integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, high‑availability Salesforce solutions.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Preferred Salesforce Architect or Salesforce Technical Lead certification.
• Experience with mission‑critical or government‑scale systems.
• Exposure to education or public sector domains.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Salesforce engineers; set technical standards; foster a high-performing culture.
• Salesforce Solution Architecture & Delivery: Own end-to-end design and delivery of Education Cloud and Service Cloud; translate needs into scalable designs.
• Technical Quality, Risk & Governance: Make critical technical decisions; review architecture and code; mitigate risks in security, performance, and integration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders; plan and deliver iteratively; communicate clearly.
• Platform Optimisation & Continuous Improvement: Drive platform performance and reliability; stay current with Salesforce capabilities; improve processes.
