Job summary

NCS Group, a leading technology services firm in APAC, seeks a Lead Product Engineer to drive robotics software development and AI-enabled applications. You will shape next-generation robotic software/hardware platforms, work in a startup-like environment, and guide cross-functional teams through end-to-end system design and delivery.

Ideal candidates have deep software engineering experience, strong leadership, and a track record delivering large-scale distributed systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Robotics or related fields.
Minimum 10 years building large-scale distributed software platforms.
At least 5 years in technical leadership roles.
Proven experience with AI/ML integration and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with robotics platforms (ROS) and related sensors.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead software design and development for robotics platform and system solutions.
Develop and optimize ML algorithms for robotics applications.
Define architecture and translate concepts into software specs and docs.
Drive end-to-end system design, implementation, and integration on prototypes.
Oversee code quality, reviews, and development standards.
Engage with clients as a technical expert and translate challenges into solutions.
Stay current with robotics, AI, CV, and related advancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on platform scaling and security.
