Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a Senior / Executive / Project Engineer, Rail Communications to lead the management of contractors for designing, installing, testing and commissioning rail communications systems across MRT control centres, depots, stations and trackside.

The role involves ensuring safety, quality, progress and environmental impact, planning risks and cash flows, issuing instructions, evaluating variations and payments, and coordinating with multiple parties

Qualifications

Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects preferred for senior level.
Willing to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead role in managing Contractors to design, supply, install, test and commission rail communications systems such as fibre-optic transmissions, DMR, PA and telephony, CCTV, access management and travel information devices.
Assist in ensuring the safety, quality, progress and environmental impact of Contractors' works.
Plan and manage risks and cash flows of the contracts; issue instructions and assess variations/payments/claims.
Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and Railway Operator to ensure coordination.
Prepare tender specifications, participate in tender evaluation and award.
