Job summary

ONION SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor Manager in Singapore to lead a team of QS professionals on fast-track projects.

You will oversee post-contract administration, budgeting, cash flow control, and final accounts, while negotiating terms with subcontractors to stay within project budgets. The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of managerial experience, with strong knowledge of Singapore contract forms and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Quantity Surveying or Building and minimum 5 years’ managerial experience in a construction firm.
• Strong understanding of local Singapore contract forms (SIA, PSSCOC, REDAS) and cost control principles.
• Proficient in MS Office and QS software; excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in post-contract and procurement administration for fast-track projects.
• Budgeting, cash-flow control, cost reporting, contract payments, and settlement of final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate terms, and award contracts within budgets.
• Administer variations, EOT, and loss-and-expense claims; prepare monthly cost/progress reports.
• Engage clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues and ensure contract compliance.
