Yixin Precision Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a QA Engineer to guide QA Inspectors, support product quality, and drive continuous improvement. You will play a hands-on role ensuring products meet specifications and quality objectives.

Based in Singapore, the role emphasizes collaboration across manufacturing teams, data-driven problem solving, and adherence to quality systems. You will contribute to process capability, FAI activities, and CAPA investigations.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision, or Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of relevant QA or Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Knowledge of SPC, Cp/Cpk, MSA, and Gauge R&R.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
Experience with CMM or Vision Measurement Systems.
Familiarity with FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

Lead and guide QA Inspectors and provide technical guidance on inspection and quality issues.
Support product validation: Conduct supporting activities for First Article Inspection (FAI) and validation of new and modified products.
Ensure measurement reliability: Support MSA, Gauge R&R, calibration, and measurement system activities.
Monitor process quality: Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements; establish and monitor SPC, Cp/Cpk, and process capability for critical characteristics.
Resolve quality issues: Investigate process defects, internal quality issues, and customer complaints, and implement and follow up on CAPA.
Drive improvement: Analyze quality trends, scrap, rejection, and rework to identify improvement opportunities.
Support audits and reporting: Participate in customer, supplier, internal, and external quality audits, and prepare reports and presentations for management and customers.
