Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks a Lead Product Manager for Digital Academy to own design direction across products and services from website to capability development journeys. You will shape how officers experience learning, simplify complex systems, and build the design function to support transformation.

You will report to the Head of Digital Academy and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Partnerships and Operations to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial design, HCI, graphic design, design research or related (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of UX/UI design experience, internships or freelance work.
• Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC.
• Strategic thinker able to drive initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Strong user research methods and data-informed design decisions.
• Familiarity with usability testing and applying feedback to improve design.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity.
• Empathy for users and a growth mindset in UX design.

Responsibilities

• Set design direction across Digital Academy's products and services.
• Simplify complex journeys by linking capability, learning and assessment into intuitive experiences.
• Lead discovery, service design, prototyping and validation to solve user problems.
• Create engaging experiences that motivate officers to apply capabilities.
• Build design systems, reusable practices and establish quality standards; mentor designers.
• Apply AI-assisted design, advanced prototyping and automation to improve workflows.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to evaluate trade-offs and measure user outcomes.
