Job summary

GovTech is seeking a Lead/Senior Product Manager to reimagine Muslim.SG across web and mobile platforms. You will drive strategy, research, and cross-functional collaboration with design and engineering teams to deliver impactful public‑facing digital products.

The role requires a strong track record in product management, stakeholder engagement, and a data‑driven mindset to improve user engagement and service delivery for Singapore’s public sector initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product management.
• Proven track record of shipping successful products from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy for Muslim.SG, translating vision into a clear roadmap.
• Drive product discovery through market and user research to identify needs.
• Oversee product development with designers and engineers, ensuring timely delivery.
• Own product performance with data-driven decisions and continuous improvements.
• Maintain updates, patches and bug fixes to ensure stability and quality.

About CCYC

GovTech’s Culture, Community and Youth Cluster (CCYC) partners with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and its statutory boards — including the National Arts Council, People’s Association, Sport Singapore, and MUIS — to deliver digital products that strengthen community life across Singapore. Our products serve millions of Singaporeans across community engagement, cultural participation, youth development, and sports and active lifestyle.

This role sits within CCYC and will be working on MUIS products, specifically Muslim.SG.

MUIS (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura) is the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, the statutory body that looks after the interests of Singapore’s Muslim community. Muslim.SG is its Muslim lifestyle platform — available as a website and on iOS and Android — that aims to inspire and empower Singaporeans through Islamic religious content.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead/Senior Product Manager to lead the end-to-end reimagination of Muslim.SG — across the web portal and both mobile platforms.

What you will be working on

Product Strategy

• Build strong relationship and partner with agencies partners to define product vision, business objectives, strategy and roadmap
• Lead stakeholder engagement to develop value proposition and secure buy-in for product initiatives

Product Discovery

• Lead market research, competitive analysis and user research to discover user needs
• Conduct quantitative analyses of product data to understand user behavior and trends
• Translate insights into product strategy and improvements

Product Development

• Manage product backlog and prioritise features based on user needs and impact
• Write clear product requirements and user stories
• Work closely with product designers and engineering throughout the development lifecycle
• Own product performance and track user engagement by making data-driven decisions through product analytics
• Maintain and manages updates, patches and bug fixes to maintain product stability
