Job summary
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on digital infrastructure for AI data centers and mission-critical applications.
To support our teams, we’re looking to add a Principal Power Technology Researcher located in Kallang, Singapore, responsible for fundamental research into future high-power products and collaboration with Advanced
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or power electronics; PhD a plus.
- 5 years' experience for Master degree or 3 years' experience for PhD in power system research or design.
- Solid State Transformer development experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of power supply topologies (Totem-pole PFC, Vienna PFC, T-NPC, ANPC, LLC, DAB).
- Familiar with engineering tools such as MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PLECS, PADs.
Responsibilities
- Identify new technologies for Flex Advanced Technology teams.
- Prototype tech and perform design simulations and POC work.
- Provide technology leadership and solve problems during research and prototyping.
- Design support and handoff between the Singapore Research Centre and Flex Advanced Technology Teams.
