Job summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new company, Axiom. We are seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer in Kallang, Singapore to lead design and development of high-power power supply solutions for AI data centers and related applications.

You will drive topology decisions, coordinate across teams, and deliver robust engineering programs with a focus on quality and reliability. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (or above) in power electronics or electrical, automation.
• 10 years design experience in power supply design (Telecom, Server, OBC ...), independent project design experience.
• Experience of mi-high power products' development from prototype to mass production.
• Strong Power electronics / power supply design knowledge and topology knowledge (Boost, Totem-pole, LLC, flyback, forward, PSFB).
• Familiar with AC/DC PSU EMC and Safety regulation.
• Familiar with engineering tools such as MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PSIM, PADs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and development from concept to production within defined requirements.
• Work across functional teams to ensure product meets specifications, cost targets, schedule.
• Design topology architecture and component selection, PCB layout, EMC, Safety, Reliability.
• Provide technology leadership and solve technical problems across development phases.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Staff Electrical Engineer located in Kallang, Singapore. This includes maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for project on design and development from concept stage till production within the defined requirements

• Work across functional teams to ensure product meet product specification, cost target, schedule, etc.

• Design concept decision maker, including topology architecture, component selection, PCB layout, EMC, Safety, Reliability etc.

• Provides technology leadership and makes decision on how to solve technical related problems so encountered throughout the development phases

The experiencewe’relooking to add to our team:

• Bachelor (or above) in power electronics or electrical, automation.

• 10 years design experience in power supply design (Telecom, Server, OBC ...), independent project design experience.

• Experience of mi-high power products' development from prototype to mass production.
