Job summary
Search Staffing Pte Ltd represents a leading American consumer electronics brand in Singapore, hiring for the Motor Advanced Development team. The Lead / Senior Engineer, Power Electronics will lead research, evaluation and development of new power electronics technologies from concept through product readiness.
Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics/Mechatronics and 10+ years of product development experience, with hands-on power electronics design, PCB work, SPICE/MATLAB
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of product development experience in power electronics.
- Hands-on expertise in circuit design, simulation, PCB design, power semiconductors and thermal management.
Responsibilities
- Lead research, evaluation and development of new power electronics technologies.
- Design, simulate, prototype and validate power electronic circuits and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners on feasibility, cost and risks.
- Support product development teams to integrate technologies into commercial products.
