Job summary

NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Lead Piping Engineer to oversee piping construction activities on the Tuas Nexus IWMF project in Singapore.

The role demands supervising subcontractors, coordinating daily site work, and ensuring installations meet drawings, specs and schedules. You will manage hydrotesting, inspections and commissioning preparation, track progress, resolve issues, and support safe, efficient execution across large-scale industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in large-scale industrial, water treatment, power generation or process plant projects.
• Experience with piping hydrotesting and commissioning.
• Experience supervising piping subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Piping Construction Management & Site Supervision: Lead daily piping construction activities at the project site, ensuring works follow drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Subcontractor Management & Coordination: Oversee piping subcontractors, monitor manpower and output, and conduct daily coordination meetings.
• Hydrotesting, Inspection & Quality Control: Plan and supervise piping hydrotests, coordinate inspections and testing, and ensure documentation is complete.
• Construction Planning, Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress against the project schedule and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Engineering Coordination & Technical Support: Review piping drawings and coordinates with engineering to resolve issues.
