Job summary

NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Piping Engineer (Construction) for the Tuas Nexus IWMF project in Singapore on a 6-month contract.

The role focuses on supervising piping construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors and main contractors, and ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on piping installation and construction site leadership experience, with a strong background in government

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of piping construction experience on industrial projects.
• Experience supervising piping installation and subcontractors.
• Familiar with PUB/LTA government infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, welding, testing and QA/QC.
• Willingness to spend significant time on-site at Tuas.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily piping construction, installation and site activities.
• Oversee piping fabrication, erection, alignment, welding and commissioning.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs, method statements and schedule.
• Review isometrics, P&IDs and general arrangement drawings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and manage subcontractors to meet targets.
• Monitor progress, safety, QA/QC and documentation.
• Support interfaces with main contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
