Job summary

Maybank Singapore Limited is seeking an experienced technology leader to drive end-to-end delivery, resilience, and evolution of critical payment platforms. You will oversee deployments, operational management, and regulatory compliance to support growth in digital payments.

The role requires managing high-availability platforms, coordinating 24x7 incidents, and leading cross-functional teams in an Agile, regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale payment system implementation and operational management in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, transaction systems, and regulatory requirements in high-volume, real-time environments.
• Hands-on experience managing incident, change, release, and production support processes focusing on system integration and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage external vendors, and deliver technology initiatives in Agile and regulated environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills enabling collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of payment system initiatives from requirements to post-production support.
• Manage high availability and resilience of payment platforms such as FAST, IBG, PayNow, PNDN, and EDP.
• Coordinate 24x7 incident management and root cause analysis to restore services.
• Drive software releases, infrastructure upgrades, security patching, and changes with minimal risk.
• Ensure governance, change management, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate industry testing and regulatory programs to maintain system integrity.
• Monitor performance and implement reliability improvements.
• Maintain technical docs and runbooks for payment systems.
• Collaborate with Business, Technology, Infrastructure, Risk, Operations, and vendors to deliver on time and budget.
• Lead proactive problem management and automate processes for resilience.
