Job summary

sagl consulting pte. ltd. seeks a Lead Observability & Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and scale multi-cloud telemetry across AWS and OCI.

You will lead monitoring consolidation, implement AIOps/ITSI workflows, and streamline incident response. You will architect observability pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenSearch and OpenTelemetry, build code-driven alerting, and automate infrastructure via Terraform, Python and Bash.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise monitoring, cloud platform engineering and observability.
• Proven track record delivering multi-cloud telemetry pipelines.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities with Python, Bash, REST and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and scale multi-cloud observability across AWS and OCI.
• Lead monitoring consolidation, AIOps workflows and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and manage regional client telemetry initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end RCA with tracing and performance insights.
• Collaborate across teams to reduce MTTR and noise.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Lead Observability & Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and scale multi-cloud telemetry infrastructure across AWS and OCI environments. You will lead monitoring consolidation, implement AIOps/Splunk ITSI workflows, and streamline incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Observability Architecture: Design and deploy Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenSearch, and OpenTelemetry pipelines.
• AIOps & Alerting: Build Splunk ITSI service models (KPI health scoring, glass tables) and composite alerting-as-code to reduce noise and MTTR.
• IaC & Automation: Automate telemetry, PagerDuty, and Kubernetes configurations using Terraform, Python, and Bash.
• Reliability & RCA: Lead root cause analysis on critical incidents, establishing end-to-end transaction tracing.
• Leadership: Mentor observability engineers and manage regional client account telemetry.

Requirements

• Experience: 15+ years in enterprise monitoring, cloud platform engineering, and observability.
• Tech Stack: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenSearch, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk / Splunk ITSI, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, REST APIs, SQL.
• Certifications (Preferred): Splunk ITSI Certified Admin, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, OCI Associate
