Job summary

JPMorganChase in Singapore seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infrastructure Platforms team, shaping network strategy, performance, and compliance for a global financial services leader.

You will evaluate emerging technologies, define requirements for planning tools, and collaborate with regional carriers to deliver scalable LAN/WAN/DC/cloud connectivity, driving automation and design optimization to improve efficiency and resilience.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in network planning, infrastructure engineering, or related roles.
Deep understanding of network technologies, topologies, and transport protocols.
Experience interpreting and applying industry standards to network design.
Demonstrated ability to define requirements for software tools and collaborate with development teams.
Experience developing and implementing network performance metrics.
Proven track record of driving performance improvement and design optimization initiatives.
Experience developing business cases and presenting to leadership.
Familiarity with audit, risk, and compliance processes and documentation.
Experience collaborating with regional carriers or service providers on network solutions.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technology and topology strategy by evaluating network technologies and recommending solutions.
Design and standardize target network topologies (LAN/WAN/DC/Cloud) for performance and scalability.
Own requirements definition for network planning/management tools into epics and features.
Partner with software teams to prioritise tool roadmap and UX for engineers.
Drive automation across planning, inventory, capacity, and change processes.
Define and implement network performance metrics, KPIs and reporting cadence.
Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
Lead optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
Build and present business cases (cost/benefit, ROI) for funding.
Support audit, risk, and regulatory compliance readiness with documentation.
