Job summary

ONE WORLD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Network Engineer/Team Lead to design, implement, and operate the school’s enterprise network across all Singapore campuses.

You will lead a skilled IT team, ensure security, high availability, and performance, and provide Level 3 support for complex incidents. You will mentor junior engineers, drive change management, document architectures, and collaborate with vendors to keep networks resilient and scalable in a multi-campus education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or network engineering.
• 2-4 years of enterprise network engineering or infrastructure support experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, SDWAN, VPN, VLAN, routing, switching, QoS, and wireless networking.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto equipment.
• Knowledge of security technologies: firewalls, NAC, IDS/IPS, VPN, segmentation.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix monitoring tools.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, ACP, NSE, PCNSE desirable.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex network incidents, problems, and enhancement requests.
• Identify root causes and recommend permanent solutions.
• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks.
• Perform advanced configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of network devices.
• Lead change requests per change management processes.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with vendors on upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, ITSM processes, and SLAs.
