Job summary

WD is seeking an ML engineer to own the models that detect product development defects and to implement, train, and evaluate CNN/U‑Net/ViT architectures for automated inspection in product development environments.

You will lead anomaly detection for sensor data with real-time processing, manage surrogate modeling and active learning pipelines, and ensure robust data contracts between data engineers and the model stack, while contributing to MLflow tracking, containers, and CI/CD efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own deep learning model implementation, training, evaluation and deployment for CNN/U-Net/ViT models used in automated inspection.
