Job summary

Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to perform activities in Engine Overhaul and Component Repair. You will act as Technical Authority to ensure production methods are capable and maintained to deliver conforming products, while resolving technical issues to meet SQCD requirements.

You will support integration of Manufacturing Engineering across the product lifecycle and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a relevant field (Aeronautical, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial).
• Strong knowledge of high bypass gas turbine engines.
• Solid understanding of material and component repair processes (welding, machining, painting, coating).
• Excellent communication, analytical, engineering and project management skills.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities (Six Sigma) with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Deploy capability for new products, including establishing manufacturing capabilities and processes.
• Develop real-time methods to measure process capability and share data across facility and supply chain.
• Maintain Production Technical Packages and ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, cost, delivery and lead-time requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment standards (Zero Harm).
• Understand product safety risks and implement mitigation measures per Safety Management System.
• Promote a zero-defect culture and Right First Time manufacturing practices.
• Oversee delivery of manufacturing processes across internal and external suppliers to achieve Right First Time production.
• Define and manage repair methods to meet cost targets and productivity metrics.
