Bitdeer is seeking a senior backend engineer to co-own the end-to-end MaaS system with the Principal Architect. Lead architectural decisions, API surface ownership, and platform maturity through rigorous standards.

You will optimize token throughput, KV cache tiering, and latency while maintaining strict security and multi-tenant isolation. The role requires 8+ years in backend engineering, 3+ years managing a high-traffic API platform, and hands-on Go, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• 3+ years owning a high-traffic, multi-tenant API platform.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end MaaS system design with Principal Architect.
• Lead API surface and routing with robust fault tolerance.
• Optimize token throughput, caching, and latency in p95/p99 ranges.
• Define and defend strict SLOs for a globally distributed platform.
• Enforce strong security, multi-tenant isolation, and data governance.
• Drive zero-regression migrations and end-to-end observability.
