Job summary

WSP in Asia in Singapore seeks a Senior Resident Technical Officer to supervise M&E works for the Lifts & Escalators replacement on a campus project. You will ensure installations align with Working/Shop Drawings and comply with local codes and standards.

You will attend site meetings with the Owner and consultants, monitor progress schedules and quality, review drawings, verify progress claims and uphold Safety Management System requirements on site with the contractor’s team.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma/Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as Resident Technical Officer on institutional or commercial projects.
• Familiarity with local codes and regulations.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect M&E works for lifts and escalators replacement in campus environment.
• Ensure installations comply with Working/Shop Drawings and local codes and standards.
• Attend site meetings and site walks with Owner and consultants.
• Monitor project progress schedules and quality standards.
• Verify contractor’s progress claims.
• Review drawings including working, shop, authority submission and as-built drawings.
• Administer Safety Management System and ensure safety measures in line with requirements with safety supervisor or contractor representative.
