Job summary

Public Service Division seeks an Executive Engineer / Engineer (Geology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division. You will lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of water systems for integrated resource management, and undertake related R&D projects.

You will design and implement geological investigations, analyze data, manage rock core storage, and maintain geological datasets for visualization using

Qualifications

• Geology or Civil/Environmental Engineering degree.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools such as Leapfrog.
• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and a good team player.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement geological and geophysical investigations.
• Perform analysis and interpretation of geological and geophysical data, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.
• Manage storage of rock cores and for research studies.
• Maintain and upkeep geological datasets and model for data visualization and interpretation (Leapfrog or equivalent)
• Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Any other duties as assigned.
