Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the FX electronic trading technology team in Singapore. You will design, build, and support high-availability, low-latency trading systems and work with a globally distributed team across London, New York, Singapore, and India.

You will develop pricing and trading workflows, participate in agile processes, and lead technical delivery from requirements through production support. Strong C++ and multithreading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of server-side C++ development experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Proficient in modern C++, STL, data structures, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of multithreaded programming, concurrency, and thread-safety.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, performance-critical C++ software for FX electronic trading platform.
• Own technical delivery from requirements analysis to production support.
• Conduct rigorous peer code reviews and resolve defects promptly.
• Diagnose latency, concurrency, reliability, and production issues using logs and profiling.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor team members and promote secure-development and inclusive practices.
• Provide technical leadership across complex deliveries.
